The 6th grade students had a pop quiz today. Their job was to listen to the rhythms I clapped and then write out what they heard. As fast as I could clap the rhythms, they had them written down. Awesome work Bulldogs!

3rd Grade figuring out rhythms!
Today we used popsicle sticks to help us figure out the rhythms we heard. The students did a great job of deciphering what they were hearing.

Great News!
Donations are rolling in! I really want to start a 5th and 6th grade basketball program here at Magnet, as well as a 7th and 8th grade girls basketball program! I purchased some supplies we will be needing, and others are being donated. We could always use more basketballs! If you have any questions, or would like to make a tax credit or other donation, come and talk to me! Thanks!

3rd Grade is loving vocabulary!
The vocab word was steady beat, and the students did a great job creating a thinking map and showing me that they really understood it. Great job Bulldogs!
Music Class at Magnet!
Hello and welcome to music! My name is Mr. MacDonald, but you can call me Mr. Mac. I am so excited to be teaching here at Magnet, and am looking forward to the great year ahead of us. Here is some general information on how students are expected to behave, and what they will be graded on. It also has concert dates, times, and what to wear to the concert listed at the bottom. If you have any questions feel free to stop me and ask me on campus, or to email me! Thanks!
